CS4All is a City of New York in collaboration with the NYC Department of Education-based non-profit organization whose goal is to provide computer science education for every elementary, middle, and high school student in New York’s five boroughs. This effort has a particular emphasis on ensuring that female, black, and Latino students have access.
CS4All’s first event seeks to honor the teachers who work so hard every day to bring computer science education to their students. CS4All wants the event to be both educational and fun for the teachers, as well as an opportunity to network and connect with other teachers across all the boroughs who are doing the same thing. The goal of the event is to provide the teachers with access to new and exciting technology, opportunities and to grow their personal networks. 8th Nation was brought on board to ensure the event was not only educational but fun and engaging by curating dynamic content within the vision of CS4All
8th Nation has been asked to support in the implementation of the timeline, booking all support vendors, securing event space, helped design the space keeping in mind excellent service design, ensuring the vision we have laid out is achieved, assisted in the creation of digital media assets and press releases prior to the event as needed, creating shareable documents to ensure the event is on track and within budget, making sure the space is ready to go the evening before the event and organizing vendors, presenters, and volunteers the day of event by creating organized schedules and by coordinating on the ground day-of.
Still in the process of creating this incredible event. Please stay tuned for details. Event to take place Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
